to the movies with Villis

We asked him a lot of questions on our way there.
The movie was hilarious. The whole theatre was laughing.
Of course we had communication problems, he didnt want to speak english, wich is understandable, you re in another country, and you really wanna practice...
I think the only thing he said in english was "I forgot Will Ferrell was in this".

Of course there were this moments when I spaced out for about...five minutes or so...
Is not that I was nervous or anything is just...I think my mind has a life of its own.
Besides that it was fun, and different.

The Crazy Shovel Man when we were sitting on that bench.
He really looked like a crazy shovel man.

There's this theatrical quality about him that I like.

(and I was about to post him a comment "keep it gay, dude", but I better not...)

Me, wherever my life is lived, O to be self-balanced for contingencies!

O to confront night, storms, hunger, ridicule, accidents, rebuffs, as the trees and animals do
It rains. Its raining.
the GD hallway is floded again. I swear, one can swim in that water.

Isnt it funny that Walt whitman dropped out of school at 11, and yet he became one of the few truly great American men of letters?
I ve always thought school sistem was useless. to store information we have computers.
and you cannot fuction in this world if you dont go to school.
the problem is, the majority of people dont have the will to seek.
its too damn hard to build yourself up,
but the good thing is, at least for me, that there's more than one way of skinning a cat...

Ethel's note

Larry:
Will you please put on your web site that Dick is no longer signing pictures, books, or posters.
Any mail from persons unknown will be thrown away and not answered.
Any packages containing books will be refused at the post office.
We feel it is time to retire and get some peace and quiet in our old age.
Regards,
Ethel

this is a message that Ethel sent Larry Alexander (biggest brother's author).
I guess they deserve that peace...
I just hope Dick is ok, he's health has been poor.
I guess that last jump is near.

Once upon a time
A girl with moonlight in her eyes
Put her hand in mine
And said she loved me so
But that was once upon a time
Very long ago

Once upon a hill
We sat beneath a willow tree
Counting all the stars and waiting for the dawn
But that was once upon a time
Now the tree is gone

How the breeze ruffled through her hair
How we always laughed as though tomorrow wasn?t there
We were young and didn?t have a care
Where did it go

Once upon a time
The world was sweeter than we knew
Everything was ours
How happy we were then
But somehow once upon a time
Never comes again

Once upon a time
Never comes again

"Bless are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused!"
