movie doubt

I saw The bodyguard again recently, and I have a question...
does she get the guy or not??
(No, im not stupid...is just that im not smart)
cause in one of the last scenes, she gets off the plane and runs to kiss him...
But then she sings I will always love you, and you see him working, on a political congress or something...
do they end up together? and, if not, why?
someone put me out of my misery here please...
